The Castle Mountain Lodge Collection Books 79 edition by Elena Aitken Literature Fiction eBooks
These books are probably the minimum length to be able to call them novels and the stories were simple with quick resolutions, but they are exactly the kind of sweet escapist fare one wants in romance novels. The nicely defined characters and the interaction between characters, including the inclusion of characters from previous books and the introduction of characters whose stories might not be fully told until two or three books later, all make the little world the author is writing about have real depth. There were several factual errors an editor could have helped with; for instance paddles and oars are not the same thing--paddling and rowing a boat are two different things and one does not row a canoe... it's the Boy Scouts that pledge trustworthiness, yet in two different books the author has someone swearing by holding up a two finger salute, as used by the Cub Scouts, rather than the three finger salute of the Boy Scouts. I understand these details don't mean anything to the story, nor do the dozen other incorrect items in these books, but they are distracting for someone who knows better and these little mistakes could have been caught by a competent editor. Still this collection is great for those who love simple love stories and I'm very thankful that there were no long, graphic sex scenes as the author chose to highlight romance, not lust.Product details

The Castle Mountain Lodge Collection Books 79 edition by Elena Aitken Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I enjoyed all the characters and the twist and turn in their lives. It kept me reading and could not wait for the next book
I really enjoyed this set of books just like your other books. Please keep writing for us. Yout bookd are a real treasure.
Loved everything about this series so I had a hard time putting this down. This was my first reading of anything from Elena Aitken and I was very pleased. Loved the characters. The differences of the stories although integrated and the mountain settings were amazing. I highly recommend this series.
I thought the entire castle mountain lodge collection was a great addition to my library, it had lots of romance and just enough spice in some of the stories I wish the last two of this collection could have been longer. I will be buying the final book to this collection soon.
These books were mostly fun for me to read because I live only a few hours away from the Castle Mountain Lodge. I can totally relate to the characters and all they experienced at the Lodge. I loved that feeling of familiarity. The books were a typically written romance but the magic of the Rocky Mountains kept me reading and enjoying the 'feeling' of being there. The books were easy to read and the author has an eloquent flow to her writings which make for a quick read. Good entertainment.
P.S. I actually have friends who own a condo at Castle Mountain. Pretty cool! (
This collection is so good. I started with the first book, it was free on so I thought why not.. Once I read it I had to read more. Elena Aitken is amazing, her words will transport you to this amazing Lodge nestled in the Rocky Mountain of Canada.. This book is full of Romance and sweetness. I am onto her next series The Springs and can not wait to meet the interesting characters and hear their stories!!
I have downloaded many free and .99 cent books and although they haven't all been bad, they certainly haven't been worth keeping. What a pleasant surprise when I read these from an author with whom I was not familiar. They are cute stories, which although they end rather abruptly, have nice character develop for shorter stories and you feel satisfied when it ends. If you like to curl up on the sofa you could read each one in an evening and have a great week. I have only read the first two so far but believe the pattern will continue. I would put them under the category of clean/sweet romance which although not my favorite, I enjoy if the passion between the couple is developed, if not consummated. Each couple finds romance at the Castle Mountain Lodge, and I liked that many of them were employees in one form or another rather than all rich people. I plan on keeping this series and checking out more from Elena.
